Keyless Ignition for Boats
Replace a conventional marine key switch with RFID authorization and push-button control. Digital Guard Dawg marine systems are designed for boat owners who want faster access without leaving an ordinary ignition key available at the helm.
The correct system depends on the vessel voltage, ignition circuit, engine configuration, and the functions you want the module to control. Review the product specifications and installation requirements before ordering. Marine installations should use protected connections, correctly sized circuit protection, and routing that keeps the harness away from water intrusion, heat, and moving components.
RFID authorization helps prevent casual unauthorized use because the ignition sequence remains disabled until a programmed fob is present. It does not replace safe mooring, physical security, battery maintenance, or a properly installed marine electrical system. If the boat has multiple engines, a nonstandard ignition, or an existing alarm, contact support with the year, make, engine details, and current switch configuration before installation.
