Great product! I've owned a keyless entry system from them for 2 years now and haven't ever had an issue with the system. I run my system in a 1966 Ford F100 and the system surprisingly works really well with my old truck. The customer service is really fast and understanding of your needs. I recently lost both my keys from my truck and Digital Guard Dawg answered quickly and was able to send me new keys within 2 days! Great company, definitely would recommend for your vehicle if you're looking for a keyless system.

I purchased my Keyless ignition system for my Victory motorcycle back in late 2013. I installed it myself — without issue — and it has operated flawlessly since. I have come to love just walking up to my bike, with the FOB in my pocket, hitting the RUN switch and START button and being rolling within a few seconds — without having to remove gloves or digging through pockets for a key. Service of the DAWG team is fantastic, too. Until recently, I had no occasion to use them, but just the other day I became separated from my FOB while out on the road and had no way to start my bike after stopping for some fuel. A single call to the Digital Guard Dawg team had me rolling within about 15 minutes — THANKS DAWG!

I ordered a DGD for my 14 Vic CC last summer. I read through the instructions before installing. At first I was confused with some of the wiring, until I stood next to my bike and seen the wiring that was illustrated. I didn't have much trouble installing it. The only thing is, I mounted the brain module in my fairing instead of having it hang down or shove it behind a cover. Here it is a year later and I have not had any issues with it. I just ordered three more FOBs for the system because I am forgetful and have already lost one. Both times I have called I think I have spoke with Bruce. Always friendly and courteous. Easy to work with. I am hard on reviews, but I am giving these guys a 5 because I have not had any problems with the system and if you lose your fob, they have a 1-800 number for assistance. I wanted to add a push to start button and PKE system for my Chevy Tahoe and after doing a lot of research and reading on a lot of the car and truck forums I decided to go with the IKEY-RS from Digital Guard Dawg because they seemed to be the most popular and had some of the best reviews, more importantly been around the longest of the ones I researched. I was very impressed with the service I received, shipping was super fast and packaging was excellent. Bruce took the time to explain to me all the features and options of the unit and answered all my questions, he even called ahead to a local certified installer where I live (Maryland) to pre-arrange installation of the unit. I must say I was very impressed when the owner of the shop called me and told me that Bruce had reached out to them wanting to make sure they were qualified to do the install correctly and gave them a quick overview of the system. Top notch customer service! I can't say enough about the experience I had — they have earned a lifetime customer for sure.

I felt compelled to write this review based on my experience with Digital Guard Dawg. I have been using the system for 4 years in my street rod — fun to have. As any system there were a couple of small issues (push buttons). I value companies on how they handle issues, as they all have issues. I could not have been treated any better. Four years later they listen to the problems and quickly resolve the issue with minimum cost to the customer. 5 star company — recommend them to anyone.

A little piece of mind for my classic car

Cool unit. Not using it as described. Works exactly as I expected it to. Makes me feel a little safer taking my classic car out in public. Modern car transponder anti-theft for my classic car!

Guard Dawg M1

I was not sure this was the right device for my C10 Chevy given the details on the product was not clear. It was very easy to install and the instructions were very clear. Before you start the engine, all you have to do is press the button on the key fob and then turn the key. I tested it several times to make sure it was going to be a good 2nd layer of protection. If you wire this up just past the key switch by tapping into the starter wire, then adding some heat shrink and wire wrap, it would take someone a while to figure out why it won’t start. I have used it now for the last few weeks and love it. If you are looking for that extra level of security, for the money, you can’t beat this. This is what I would consider the 2020 version of a kill switch that we would install back in the day. Hope this was helpful — take care guys.

Great product

I've wanted a kill switch in my cars but didn't know where to hide the switch. This is perfect since no switch to hide. It's automatic when you walk away from the vehicle. I bought 3 of them for my classics.

Excellent security and simplicity

I have purchased 9 of these units for my customers that have fleet vehicles. My customers needed added security beyond just having a key. When this unit is properly installed it can add a new level of security for any 12-volt switched circuit. I install these units on service vans to prevent them from running. Very happy with this product.

Top Notch Product

Bought two of these Guard Dawg trackers for my Polaris Ranger and my GSXR. I lost an older Ranger hunting a few years back — someone just snatched it up while we were away. It taught me an expensive lesson. I'm putting these trackers on everything now. Only a couple minutes to install. I like how it works right through my iPhone. The thing is built really solid, says it's 100 percent waterproof and looks like it too. Fairly small to tuck away. Now I can see where my toys are day and night anywhere I leave them. It sends me a message on my phone if anybody messes with or moves them an inch. There's even a button on the phone app that’s a kill switch. Also, I looked around and I like that it came with two years service without paying extra — everyone else just gives a couple months then you have to buy more time. Well worth the money!

Impressed

Seems very well built and designed for off-road use. I'm putting this one on my 2021 RZR XP 1000. I needed something that can take a beating where I ride. It's pretty small and worked right out of the box after I did their setup stuff. Really liked that they gave me two years activation and didn't nickel and dime me like other GPS I've seen. I like the security and knowing if anyone is messing with my RZR when I'm not nearby. Happy with this purchase and would recommend.

Sturdy harness, good plugs

Purchased this along with the KIM-P module for my 2005 GSXR600. It wasn't super hard to install — just need to know where the plugs are and find a good spot to mount the little box (I put mine behind the headlight shroud). Harness feels sturdy and the plugs aren't loose.

Terrific Mod on my Denali

Just added this system to my 06 Yukon Denali. Couldn't be happier! Very cool to have my doors and rear hatch unlock when I approach. I really like having the push to start and ditching my keys. The remote transmitters are very well made — they look almost like my BMW ones. The installation requires a fair amount of wiring but the package has excellent clear instructions. Everything looks and works better than expected. Planning on ordering another system soon for my 79 Trans Am. I definitely recommend this product to anyone wanting to update their vehicle to push-to-start technology.

Impressive System

I don't normally take time to write reviews, but I felt this product deserved one. After doing my research and reading lots of reviews, I decided to go ahead and buy the IKEY product for install on my 2018 F-150. My wife's Lexus has a keyless push button start and I've always been a fan. When I purchased my truck the only way to get the keyless was to pay 10k more for the Limited trim package. The kit arrived and it was impressive to say the least. Nicely packaged, quality seemed extremely good, the remotes are solidly built and look even better than our Lexus remotes. I looked everything over closely — all the wires and connections were high grade, well crimped and well labeled. I am fairly good at basic automotive wiring but not an expert, so before I started the install I called Digital Guard Dawg and talked to their tech support guy Brian. He was super and took almost 20 minutes answering my questions. One thing I found out that was different from what I had previously read was you can switch right from any mode — off, accessory or on — and go directly to start or stop just by holding down the button for 3 seconds. The installation took me about 7 hours over a weekend. Big plus for the instruction manual — it's very well written with lots of pics and notes. I mounted the start button right over my old key switch and it looks really clean. Everything works great, just as advertised. One thing I like even better than the wife's Lexus is that the doors unlock and lock automatically. Hers only unlock, so with this system you can't forget to lock the doors and arm the alarm — seems like a good safety feature. One last thing I really liked is they give you this “bypass card” that if I lose my remotes you can just hold up to the window and it will unlock and let me start the truck. Neat idea, the factory should think about adding it. Anyways, as I said, I'm very pleased. It's a good quality and well supported product.

Excellent Product

I was looking to update my racing green 04 Jag XK8 and came across this product. Wow, what a great mod! It does everything I was hoping for and then some. I love the automatic door unlock and the push button start works perfectly. I got one of the green billet start buttons and fitted it into my cigarette lighter hole. I'll post some pics soon. The kit was well thought out, solidly made, with good instructions. I also bought the GDT GPS tracker unit and now can check on my car from my phone. Very happy and definitely satisfied. Two thumbs up.

Strong recommendation

Sweet System, good quality

I purchased the iKey about a year ago and have been very happy with it since it was installed on my truck. I really like that it just unlocks as I walk up, and that I can get in and start the truck without having to dig any keys out of my pocket. Their included wiring and antenna seemed to be good quality as well. I have a couple systems from Digital Guard Dawg now and they are all solid. When I have run into problems, their technical service line has been super helpful. I opted to have this professionally installed as it was too technical for my skill level.

The Perfect Upgrade

I recently installed this system on my 2003 Yukon XL. I had no issues. Works great and it has a lot of options. I highly recommend you install a bypass unit to go with it — it'll make installation much easier. I used the ADS-AL(DL)-GM1-EN by iDatalink. I used the OEM button that came with the unit but it has other button styles to choose from. Overall I'm very satisfied with it.

Digital Guard Dawg Push Button Start

This kit is awesome. I used it on a LS3-powered 68 Camaro and I love it. The kit is very complete, great instructions and very high quality. The key fobs look just like my new truck fobs and the button is exactly what I wanted. Customer service at the factory is top notch.

Couldn’t be Happier!

Bought this keyless system for my 66 Chevelle and couldn't be happier. Everything from the remotes, the start button down to the wiring seems excellent quality. The remotes look factory style — I think it's TXL grade wire they use, anyways really nice stuff. The system was fairly easy to install, good directions and diagrams. I had to call the manufacturer with a question about hooking up my power windows. They were extremely helpful and good to deal with. The system works perfectly! I really love the upgrade and how it modernized my car. It works just like my wife's factory Lexus system now. Great product for sure.

Love it

Not too difficult to install, and I coupled it with the Digital Guard Dawg lock kit. I did find out after the fact that if you want the locks to auto unlock as well you need a different kit, but that's not a big deal. I also ordered a white billet LED 25mm button which fits perfectly in a 68-72 Chevy C10 if you cut the rear spacer down.

Sweet system for the price

I got the PBS-2 module because I wanted to add push start on my old Explorer. It was nice that there are a lot of button options and also that they give you extra output channel control. I hooked up the door locks as well as some auxiliary lighting and the lift gate release. The install took a little skill, but anyone with some basic electrical knowledge should be able to figure it out. The Guard Dawg company also had really good customer service when I called them with tech questions. Overall, this was a great way to update the electronics on my daily driver and a great DIY install project.

Awesome addition to my Cobra!

I saw this Guard Dawg product first on another guy's car in our Cobra club. He had been quite happy so I decided to get one. The install was very straightforward — it only took me about 3 hours. My friend has had his several years now and says it's worked flawlessly. I'm expecting the same. It seems to be a very well-made system. I like that it's made in the USA. The key fobs look very modern and seem rugged, not at all cheap. The security aspect was an important part of my decision. Getting rid of my key switch for a system like this that can't be easily bypassed makes me much more comfortable when I'm away from my car. I am definitely pleased with the Guard Dawg and will recommend it to other Cobra owners.

Outstanding Upgrade

I installed this keyless start unit on my Cobalt Cruiser 6 months ago and I've been extremely happy with it. I have always loved the blue switches on my dash and always thought it would be great to do away with the key switch somehow. I saw this system and decided to give it a try — very glad I did. It wasn't hard at all to switch out the ignition, about 2 hours is all. The kit's wiring was easy enough, it seems built well, and the button matches my dash perfectly and works perfectly as well.

Great way to add push start

I like this product overall. I had it professionally installed and it was a simple process. The module and wiring all seemed well made and the push button has a nice tactile feel. It installed alongside my Compustar alarm system and has worked flawlessly since. It is also nice that there is the option to get different color buttons — the blue one matches my interior accent lighting really well.

Good Value / Works Well

Nice tracking system, works as described, simple install and to use, seems to work everywhere I've gone so far. I most liked that it comes with 2 years service included. Thumbs up.

Did the job

Worked great with the Digital Guard Dawg PBS-2 system. Only issue I had was the green and blue signal wires seemed to do the opposite thing and I just had to connect them the opposite way (blue actuator wire to green signal wire and green actuator wire to blue signal wire).

Great button, good lighting

Got this for an iKey we had put in my wife's car. It looks good on the steering column over the old ignition. Button press feels good and the light is bright. I would say this is OEM style and OEM quality too.

Nice system. Easy to install with downloadable instructions and paper directions for wiring door lock actuators.

Special instructions not included to program to an M1 unit. Called and got them emailed to me. Programmed as described. So far happy with my DGD-M1 and this item as my second fob.
